Content Policy
This page explains how I write and what you can expect when you read anything here. Everything on this site is my own work. No ghostwriters. No copied posts. No filler.
My Own Work
I write every article myself. The ideas come from my own work. Some of it comes from my job as a Site Reliability Engineer. Some comes from my research in Digital Humanities at Boston University. Some comes from small projects I build in my free time.
I do not accept guest posts. I do not republish other people's work. Each tutorial is something I have actually built and run on my own machine.
Sometimes I use AI tools to check my grammar or tidy up a code sample. But the thinking, the structure, and the voice are mine. If a post relies on AI for anything more than that, I say so clearly.
How I Write
Tested Code
Every command and code sample runs before it goes live. If it does not work on my machine, it does not go in the post.
Real Depth
I would rather write one full guide than ten thin ones. Most posts run long because the topic needs the space.
Honest Sources
When I use someone else's research or work, I link to it. Academic posts include a full reference list at the end.
Written for People
I write so you can follow along, even if the topic is new to you. Hard ideas get a plain explanation first.
How I Check My Facts
Technical posts go through four simple steps before they reach you.
Build
I build the thing first, in a clean setup, before I write a single word about it.
Check
I run the code and confirm the output. I deploy the setup and watch it work.
Read
I read the draft again for mistakes and gaps before I publish.
Update
When a tool changes, I go back and fix the post. The update date you see is a real one.
Ads and Sponsorship
This site shows ads. They help cover hosting and the time I put into writing. Here is how I handle them.
Ads stay separate from what I write. You will always know which is which.
Ads never block the text or get in the way of reading.
No advertiser decides what I write about.
If I use an affiliate link, I tell you in the post.
If a post is ever sponsored, it will say so at the top.
The ad networks I use follow privacy rules like GDPR and CCPA.
Corrections and Updates
I get things wrong sometimes. When I do, I fix them in the open.
Small Fixes
Typos and small edits get fixed quietly, without a notice.
Tech Updates
When a tool changes, I update the post and show a fresh date with a short note.
Real Errors
If I get a fact wrong, I add a note with the old and the corrected version.
Found a mistake? Tell me through the contact page or open an issue on GitHub. I try to fix things within two days.
What I Will Never Publish
Posts written by AI and passed off as mine
Copied or scraped content from other sites
Code I have not tested
Clickbait titles that do not deliver
Posts written only to rank on search engines
Paid reviews dressed up as honest opinions
Anything that puts people down or causes harm
Old information shown as if it is current
